A: To check in your license/licence, launch the AE Configuration Utility >Go to Licensing tab >Click on the license/licence box information on the right >Select ‘Check In Selected Licenses’ >Check in over the internet.
 
Q: How do I refresh my ARGUS Enterprise license/licence to remove an expiry date?
A: To refresh your license/licence, launch the ARGUS Enterprise Configuration Utility >Go to Licensing tab >Click on the license/licence box information on the right >Select Refresh Selected Licenses. Note: If modules disappear, please select the license/licence box again to do a complete check in and check out.
 
Q: How do I move my workstation license/licence to another computer?
A: To move your license/licence to another computer, launch the ARGUS Enterprise Configuration Utility >Go to Licensing tab >Click on the license/licence box information on the right >Select ‘Check In Selected Licenses’ >Check in over the internet. Activate the secondary computer, by launching the AE Configuration Utility and selecting Add New License.  
 
Q: How do I move my ARGUS Enterprise installation to another computer?
A: To move your install to another computer you will first need to check in the license/license on the existing workstation then click here to download and run the install on the new workstation.  Once the install has completed you can check out the license to activate the software.
 
Q: How do I find the full version and product key/serial number of my ARGUS Enterprise product?
A: To find the version and product key/serial number information, open ARGUS Enterprise >Go to File tab >Go to Help tab >Application Version listed under ‘About’.

ARGUS On Demand

Q: What are the system requirements for ARGUS On Demand?
A: System requirements for ARGUS On Demand:
  • Prerequisites: All browsers must have JavaScript enabled and must have "DigiCert SHA2 High Assurance Server CA" certificate installed on the computer
  • Operating Systems/Browsers:
    • Windows: Microsoft Windows OS 7 or higher - Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome (current version), Firefox (current version)
    • MAC: Apple Macintosh OS X (10.9 or higher) - Firefox (current version), Google Chrome (current version)
  • Third Party Tool:
    • Citrix Receiver 4.3 and higher for Windows.
    • Citrix Receiver 11.9.15 and higher for Mac.
    • Citrix Receiver - view system requirements for Citrix Receiver.
    • Certain functionality may require tools such as Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Excel 2003 and higher.
 
Q: Where can I get the Citrix Receiver download?
A: Please click here to download Citrix Receiver on your desktop.
 
Q: What is the work email address or server address needed to be entered when launching the Citrix receiver?
A: To use ARGUS On Demand, you do not have to run the Citrix receiver directly. If you have Citrix Receiver installed on your PC, go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to "My Applications" page --> click "Launch" icon next to the application --> The browser will prompt you to open the .ica file.  The .ica file will automatically open using the Citrix Receiver on your desktop.
 
Q: I keep getting the "SSL Error 61" when trying to launch my application - how do I resolve this?
A: To resolve this issue, you need to install the DigiCert SHA2 cert on your machine.  If you need further assistance, please search the knowledge base for a step by step article or reach out to support.
 
Q: Why can’t I see any of my local folders or files?
A: When installing Citrix Receiver and logging in for the first time, you will have prompts asking if you would like to ‘Always Allow Access’ or ‘Never Allow Access’. Please make sure to ‘Always Allow Access’ to be able to view your local files.
 
Q: How do I open a local file saved on my desktop?
A: To open a local file, go to File Open --> Expand This PC on the far left --> Go to C: on <your computer name> -->Go to Users folder --> Go to <yourusername> folder --> Go to Desktop folder. This is how you would browse to any other folder/file located on your computer.
 
Q: How do I save my file on your ARGUS server?
A: To save the file on our ARGUS Server for your dedicated space, open the file saved on your computer --> Select Save As or Copy file --> Expand This PC on the far left --> Select H drive on Org2015_XXXX.
Note: The H:/ drive will be different on a per user basis, but Org will be in the server name.
 
Q: How can I add users and assign them available subscriptions?
A: To add new users to your account, go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to “Manage Users” page --> click the “Add User” --> complete the fields in the resulting popup --> click “Add User”. The newly added user will receive a verification email from ARGUS On Demand. The new user must click on the link in the email to confirm the account and create a password to sign in.   To assign a user an available subscription, go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to “Manage Users” page --> click the “Pencil” icon next to the user to enable edits --> click a checkbox for the specific item you wish to assign to the user --> click "Ok" to apply your changes.
 
Q: How can I update my Credit Card information?
A: To update your credit card information, go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to “Account Summary" page --> under "Payment Method, click the "Change Payment Method" --> Enter the new credit card information --> click "Continue" to update the credit card information on file.
 
Q: Can I manage my subscription directly through ARGUS On Demand?
A: Users can renew or cancel their subscription from the ARGUS On Demand site:
  • Purchases:
    • Additional Quantities: To purchase additional quantities go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to "Manage your Subscriptions" page --> click the "Adjust Subscription for Use Now" tile --> Increase the quantity of the specific item --> click the "Calculate Quote" --> Review charges and check the "Privacy Policy and Terms" checkbox --> Click "Buy Now" to complete the transaction.  If your payment is successful, you will see a payment successful popup.
    • Training Packages: To purchase training for ARGUS Enterprise or ARGUS Developer go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to "Manage your Subscriptions" page --> click the "Adjust Subscription for Use Now" tile --> Purchase eLearning packages for specific users by increasing the quantity to the desired number of packages --> click “Calculate Quote” --> review charges and check the “Privacy Policy and Terms” checkbox --> click “Buy Now” to complete the transaction. If your payment is successful, you will see a payment successful popup
  • Upgrading:
    • Monthly to Annual: You can upgrade your Monthly to Annual by going to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to "Manage your Subscriptions" page --> click the “Upgrade Subscription” tile --> confirmation popup appears with the upgrade order summary --> review your changes and check the “Privacy Policy and Terms” check box --> click “Upgrade” to complete your transaction.  The upgrade will be effective immediately and any unused portion of your monthly subscription will be credited towards your annual subscription.
  • Cancellations:
    • Clients with annual subscriptions may cancel their subscription with the last 90 days of their subscription period.
    • Clients with a monthly subscription may cancel their subscription any time.
    • Cancellations will end billing and remove access to the application at the end of your current subscription.
    • If you cancel your subscriptions, you may reinstate your service before the date your access to the services is suspended.
    • To cancel your subscription, go to the AOD Sign In page --> Login --> Go to "Manage your Subscriptions" page --> click the "Cancel Subscriptions" tile --> click "Yes" on the confirmation pop-up to confirm the date the cancellation is effective.  Cancellation will end billing and remove access to the application at the end of your current subscription.
  • Renewals:
    • Clients with annual subscriptions may modify their renewal within the last 90 days of their subscription period.
    • Clients with a monthly subscription may modify their renewal any time.
    • Modifications to the subscription will be effective on the day of your renewal.

Q: How is my data stored, and is it secure?
A: The data on our platform is housed in three redundant data centers in Ireland, with every customer’s data housed in a separate database and never commingled. ARGUS Voyanta is ISO 27001 compliant, and we undergo routine, independent security audits. In addition to this, several of our larger customers, some of whom are regulated financial institutions, have carried out their own independent reviews and penetration tests.

Q: The ARGUS Voyanta Excel Add-In is no longer visible?
A: If Excel closes unexpectedly, when it re-opens it sometimes disables any Add-Ins which are installed. To re-enable the Excel Add-In, please follow these steps:
Navigate to File > Add-Ins > Select 'Disabled Items'  from the 'Manage' drop-down list > Click on the Voyanta Add-In and select 'Enable' > Restart Excel and the ARGUS Voyanta Add-In should now be visible again.
